Supported Chains & Address Types
AML risk checks and daily AML scoring support the following mainnets. Select the network explicitly before entering an address.
| Network | Address format |
|---|---|
| Ethereum (ETH) | 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters |
| TRON | 34-character Base58 address beginning with T |
| BNB Smart Chain (BSC) | Same address format as Ethereum |
| Arbitrum One (ARB) | Same address format as Ethereum |
| Solana (SOL) | Case-sensitive Base58 address |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Mainnet Base58, P2SH, Bech32 or Bech32m address |
ETH, BSC and ARB share the same address format. The address alone cannot identify which network you intend to check.
Continuous blacklist alerts and balance-change monitoring support ETH and TRON. Support for AML scoring does not imply support for every monitoring feature.
Planned Chains
Additional chain support is planned based on demand. Candidates include:
- Polygon (MATIC)
- Avalanche (AVAX)

Address Validation
WalletShield validates wallet addresses before processing:
- Format validation (length, prefix, character set)
- Bitcoin mainnet prefix and checksum validation
- Explicit network selection — results and reports retain the selected network
Invalid addresses are rejected with a clear error message before any risk check is performed.
